Christopher Clark (US Army Retired Sergeant First Class)

Chris Clark — Army Veteran, Poet, and Advocate for Healing Through Creativity

Chris Clark is a retired U.S. Army veteran who proudly served more than two decades in uniform before beginning a new mission — helping others heal through words. During his service, Chris discovered that while the military teaches discipline, courage, and sacrifice, it rarely prepares you for the silence that follows.

Struggling to adjust to civilian life, he turned to poetry as therapy, transforming his reflections on service, loss, and identity into art that speaks to the veteran experience. Through writing, Chris found not only his own healing but also a voice that resonates with countless others navigating life after the military.

Chris’s poetry captures both the weight and the beauty of transition — from soldier to civilian, from duty to discovery.
