Shade is a combat veteran that served in the Army from 2004 to 2017. Shade’s struggle with severe PTSD, depression, anxiety, and alcohol addiction affected every facet of his life and family. At the beginning of 2015, Shade found healing through Christ and stepped into a life of new hope and transformation. In March of 2016, he and his wife, Rebekah, and their children felt called to share Christ’s healing with those suffering from trauma physically, mentally, and spiritually. Today, Shade works full-time as a Co-Founder and Director for the Freedom Fighter Foundation. He is an ordained Minister, Crisis Response Chaplain, and is Certified in Care and Counsel for Combat Trauma. Shade and his team of Freedom Fighters seek to bring salvation, healing, and freedom to the body of Christ and build world changers for the Kingdom of God.
