This is SITREP, where we provide information about resources for veterans and interviews with veterans about their situation, experiences, and what they may be doing to help other veterans. Our mission is to provide information that helps veterans transition from military to civilian life in order to prevent veteran homelessness.

In this episode, Tom & Chris dive into the incredible organizations that are changing the game for veterans: Heroes on the Water, The Mission Continues, and VetTix. Heroes on the Water is all about bringing wellness and community to veterans and their families through exhilarating kayak fishing and outdoor adventures, offering free fishing experiences and gear! With partnerships with the VA and the DOD, they've made a huge impact on over 38,000 veterans and first responders! The Mission Continues empowers veterans to keep serving, providing amazing opportunities to make a difference in their communities through volunteer work. And let's not forget VetTix, which gives free event tickets to veterans, active duty service members, and their families as a heartfelt way to give back to those who've sacrificed so much.
